DENVER (AP) -- Democratic leaders met in Denver to map out their strategy to help presidential candidate Barack Obama win Colorado and the West in the general election.

Those attending the summit Monday at the governor's mansion included former presidential candidate and U.S. Sen. Gary Hart, U.S. Sen. Ken Salazar, Colorado Gov. Bill Ritter, Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper and former Transportation and Energy Secretary Federico Pena.

Salazar said after the summit that Colorado could be a key state that puts Obama over the top in the election. Those attending the summit agreed to emphasize Obama's plan to help the West.

Salazar said Obama's agenda will provide jobs, harness renewable energy, and promote rural American values.

google u.s presidents experience and you will find the best presidents in our history have been those with less experience and the worst we have had have been those with more. it is a known fact. i would not vote for any man who left his ailing wife for a piece of eye candy half his age after she patiently waited for for him for 5 years if you paid me a million dollars. macain is just as much a narcisstic creep as john edwards.

I have a plan that will increase social security benefits as well as lower taxes for middle and low income families. I also have a plan that will allow the U.S. to be more energy independent while at the same time create thousands of jobs all across the country. I also have a plan that will balance the budget and end the recession. (See, I could run for president too)

Would you feel safe with Barak Obama as the Pres. of the United States? I would not. I wouldn't trust this guy with mailing my cable payment. This person is a left-leaning political wanna-be with no real experience in the ways of government (both domestic & foreign, has very questionable financial dealings & is wishy-washy on every subject concerning the American Public. Vote McCain, please.
