The Friends of the Pikes Peak Library Disctrict is holding it's Winter Book Sale Friday, January 27th through Sunday, January 29th. It's a great opprtunity to pickup some great books at great prices. The sale is only open to members of The Friends of the PPLD on Friday, from 4pm until 7pm. Memberships are available at the door. The sale is open to the public on Saturday, from 10am until 4pm and Sunday, from 11am until 3pm. Also on Sunday, You can fill a bag of books for just $5. You must use a bag provided at the sale.

The youngsters in your life can enjoy some Division One College Basketball for just $5 a ticket. That's the deal on Saturday, January 28th, as the Air Force Falcons take on UNLV at the U.S. Air Force Academy. Game time is 7pm. You can get $5 ticket for kids ages 3 to 15 with the purchase of an adult ticket. You can order on-line atthe link provided.

Here's a great deal for our military members and their families. Active duty military, reservists, and National Gaurd members can enjoy a free visit to Seaworld, Busch Gardens and other theme parks in 2012. Register for your tickets on-line, then you and three direct dependants can get free admission. It's part of the "Here's to Heroes" campaign to thank those who serve us all.
