Tthe summer travel season will soon be upon us. If you plan to fly, you might want to start looking at fares now. To make those deals even sweeter, travel sites like Travelocity, Orbitz and Expedia are waiving booking fees through May 31st.
If you can't find what you want in those sales, some airlines have permanent discounts based on your age.
Airtran has a sweet offer for passengers ages 18 to 22. It's the "U Standby" promotion. The name says it all. Be willing to fly standby and you can fly for $69 to $99 each way. You can't check baggage, but the flight does count toward future free flights.
If you're college years are a few decades behind you, Southwest Airlines has a deal to look forward to.
Southwest Senior Fares are typically much less than walk-up fares and are usually still available, even when special fares are all taken. Better yet, your ticket is fully refundable if your plans change.
We'd enjoy hearing about the best deals you've come across in Southern Colorado. Take a moment and leave a comment, and share your deal!
