Senator Mark Udall was in southern Colorado Wednesday to talk about the need for tax breaks for wind energy companies. He says it's key to creating jobs and boosting the economy.
Udall toured the Vestas plant in Pueblo Wednesday.
"It's also a prime mission when it comes to making sure the United States is energy secure, and that we are creating our own future wind power is a key part of that effort," Udall said.
Vestas announced the company plans to add 800 jobs across Colorado before the year is finished.
