Romney Says Obama Is Distorting GOP Budget Plan

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Republican Mitt Romney says President Barack Obama is misrepresenting GOP budget priorities as both men gear up for the fall election.

Romney told newspaper editors and publishers Wednesday that Obama is exaggerating the likely impact of a House Republican budget plan Romney supports. He said Obama claims the plan would make damaging, across-the-board cuts to many federal programs. Romney said the plan instead would eliminate targeted programs such as the 2010 Democratic overhaul of health care.

Romney also said Obama is being coy about his long-term plans for a missile defense system in Europe and other issues. He said now is not the time for a "hide and seek" strategy by a president seeking a second term.

Let the games begin! I soooo can't wait for Romney to challenge obama in the debates. The media is not telling us the whole story on the GOP budget because they want the sheeple to believe it is something it is not.

When are people going to realise that our government has no say in oil or gas prices? These are set and paid by the oil companies. One reason that the gasoline prices are climbing so fast is that the oil companies are exporting gas refined here in the States. They aren'r releasing it into our markets. Not only that, but they are drilliing oil here and exporting it to other countries. Talk about a sector that needs nationalization!

I really do not understand a lot of things about our president, he talks about our country being free and the people having choices, but then dictates to us about his health care and other issues, that we have no say in, you will do this or pay. We're free, really! Romney is not much different he is smooching up to the people by saying what he thinks we want to hear but he seems like the kind of guy that flip flops on issues to appease the media and people. Wow, we really have to look and see which one of these candidates can do good for our country. I do not see why we are exporting oil , and importing it from the middle east. If we have enough oil that we can export it, why don't we just keep it here stop buying it from whoever and regulate the price to fit our economy, really don't understand unless it is all for the governments self gain. As far as the GOP Budget Plan, do we all know what it entails? Can we give a comment on a plan before we read it, or listen to the candidates.
