If you need to go to Walmart Friday, it could take you a little longer than usual.

Occupy Colorado Springs have mobilized a protest outside an eastside Walmart, their fourth protest of the retail giant for the 2011 holiday season.

Protesters will continue their "12 Walmarts of Christmas" by urging shoppers to boycott corporate superstores like Walmart.

A Facebook page promoting the event states that Walmart has pursued profit "at the expense of human values," and has eliminated jobs for Americans by sending jobs overseas.

Customers can expect to see protesters at the East Platte Walmart until 3 p.m. The "Occupy" group has previously protested outside the Walmarts on 8th Street, Powers and Palmer Park, and North Academy near Chapel Hills Mall.

Go to Walmart to support child labor. Support Halliburton and Dyncorp to support the child sex trade.

I have a job thank you. I bet I make more money than you do, AND I care about child slave labor. Walmart is not only bad for OUR economy, but bad for everyone involved. Where do you think the products come from? Lala land? No. The products come from overseas where walmart pays children (and adults) pennies a day to slave away so that YOU can live in comfort. Get off your couch and do something about it.

Amber has a point. If you claim you are a Christian then you should care where and who made your goods. I never understood people who are willing to send money to all sorts of overseas charities but refuse to buy from their neighbors. Charity starts at home.

Wal-Mart sells merchandise. They don't manufacture the stuff.

Jobs are overseas due to the government regulations, not walmart. My cousin wants to work for $5/hr but can't because companies are forced to pay $7.15, therefore they won't and instead will pay someone in another country. Stupid liberals. RP 2012.

Call me simple-minded, but I don't have a problem with Wal-Mart because I have a small business and the supplies there are cheaper. As are medicines, food, tools, and just about everything. What's wrong with that?

What the name of your business so I can boycott it as you can't be bothered with buying from American manufacturers.

The Tea Party changed congress. The Tea Party clearly stated that they were, and still are very angry with the Democrats and the Republicans. They want change. (and I don't mean the kind of change Obama will give us) Point being, these "Occupy" clowns haven't changed anything. People like that do things like that to be cool, or to be in the "in crowd". They will be remembered for nothing more than a bother...
