An Iowa-based convenience store says it has plans for a $70 million to $80 million expansion in Colorado.
The Des Moines Register says Kum & Go of West Des Moines will add 20-25 stores in the area around Colorado Springs within the next five years. CEO Kyle Krause says the new stores will add about 150 new jobs by the end of 2013.
Kum & Go has more than 400 stores in 11 states. It currently operates 39 stores with 370 employees in parts of Colorado.
