Did you know many store websites have a spot where you can claim free samples? Walmart and Target are two of the large retail stores that do this. The samples often go quick, but we have a strategy to help you get your share. Just search for free samples on the websites, then save the web page addresses in your "favorites." You can then conveniently check for new offers when you're online.
We mentioned that the city of Colorado Springs was offering free street trees for your home. We're now told that the city has suspended the program because of overwhelming response.
There are many free things to do this coming weekend. The Money Museum in Colorado Springs is offering free admission on Saturday, February 18, from 10:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. Chick-fil-A has a free breakfast entree for you on Friday morning, February 17. The final weekend of the Fifth Annual Cripple Creek Ice Festival is happening Saturday, February 18 and Sunday, February 19.
You're can also receive free admission to the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center on Tuesday, February 21. There are even extended hours so you and yours can make the most of it.
