Gas Prices Still Rising, But Slower

Gas prices are still rising, but at least they are rising less.

The national average has gone up 4 cents in the past two weeks--the smallest increase since January. It's now hovering just below $4, at $3.97 a gallon.

Tulsa, Okla. has the lowest price at $3.66 a gallon. The average price of regular gas in the Springs is $3.81.

We know from his own words that Obama wanted $4 gas back in 2008. Looks like he's getting his wish.

Not that I'm defending Obama (nope, not me, not ever), but when was he quoted as saying that? I'll believe what you say if it's quoted by a reputable media source, not from a comment page.

Secretary of Energy Steven Chu, who recently testified that he "doesn't own a car at the moment", was quoted as saying the (Obama)administration would like to see gasoline in the same price range as in Europe.

I wonder which idiot will be the first to blame Obama or Bush for high gas prices? I wonder which self-entitled Hummer owner will be first to cry about "pain at the pump". C'mon everyone, speak up!!!

Obama blamed Bush as well as all liberals for the high gas prices during his tenure as president. Turn about is fair play as gas prices did not seem to rise to high until Obama put more sanctions on Iran. Yes foreign policy and unstable middle east with the rise of Islamic muslim brotherhood nations do a have a part in the high gas prices. This is not fully to blame on oil speculators sorry to inform you. As far as self entitled SUV drivers we can afford our gas we just have to work harder to pay for you liberal parasites and your health coverage, food, housing, welfare, you know the things that are not guaranteed to citizens in the Bill of Rights.

Hey, you're preaching to the choir here. I just get tired of people expecting the government to fix everything for them. People buy gas-guzzling SUV's and then expect the govt. to keep gas prices low so they can keep driving them. Idiots.

Not to blame on oil speculators? You're right it's to blame on RBOB speculators. Oil itself didn't shoot up in price, there's a disconnect between oil and gas prices right now.
