Your eyes aren't deceiving you if the numbers at the pump look a little lower.

Gas prices are down for the second week in a row.

Unfortunately, prices in the state of Colorado aren't decreasing as fast as they are elsewhere. While gas prices in Colorado dropped by 2 cents last week, the national average dropped by five, a 10 cent drop over the last two weeks. Thirty-two states have lower average prices than Colorado.

The state average is $3.84, 3 cents higher than the national average.

Experts say easing the tension in Iran is helping to push gas prices down.

The trend is one economists hope will stick as the economy struggles to get back on its feet: experts say $5 a gallon gas is the biggest threat of the country dipping into another recession.
