Travel experts expect this Memorial Day weekend to be one of the busiest in years for travelers on the road.
AAA expects 35 million people to be traveling over the holiday weekend--and nearly all of them are expected to drive to their holiday destination.
Gas prices are slowly starting to drop, and 11 News wants to help you locate the best deals in town before you head out of the city.
According to gasbuddy.com, the best price for regular gas is at $3.65. If you're headed north you can find that price at the Western Convenience off Fillmore near I-25. It's not the only place around town with prices that low; there are a few other gas stations in the Springs with similar prices. The South Circle Station on Circle and Airport is another.
If you live in Pueblo, or just happen to be heading that way, the cheapest gas in the city can be found at the Western Convenience on Prairie Boulevard and West Northern Avenue. Gas there is $3.36.
