Residents To Voice Budget Concerns in Council Meeting

Colorado Springs residents will have a chance to voice their concerns Tuesday about the pending budget cuts in the city.

The City Council will hold a Public Hearing on tonight, February 17, from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. in City Council Chambers located at 107 N. Nevada on the third floor.

The 2009 City Budget reductions will be discussed and City Council will take input and questions from the public.

Citizens are encouraged to arrive in time to sign-in, indicating they wish to speak on a topic.

If you cannot attend, interested citizens can call, e-mail or fax their questions from home. The e-mail address for questions or inputs is, the telephone number the night of the meeting will be 719-385-5961, and the fax number will be 719-385-5861.
