Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton says President Bush doesn't see how hard the economy is the middle class and that voters should elect Democrat Barack Obama.

The New York senator has told a Philadelphia audience Monday that it breaks her heart to see the U.S. in an economic crisis eight years after Democrats left the nation in sound fiscal shape.

She says "the middle class is invisible" to President Bush and that "he doesn't see how hard it is to make ends meet."

Speaking to about 400 people, Clinton says voters concerned about the economy should support Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama.

After her appearance at a Jewish community center in northeast Philadelphia, Clinton was to address a rally in suburban Horsham, Pa.
