Masked Man Slashes Woman
Nederland, CO Police say a masked assailant broke into a Nederland woman's home on Halloween night and slashed her with a knife.

Police say a masked assailant broke into a Nederland woman's home on Halloween night and slashed her with a knife.
The attack happened just after 10 Saturday night, when the woman said she went to the door to see what a person wearing a mask from the movie "Scream" wanted. The assailant apparently forced open the door and attacked the woman with a knife, cutting her arms and face. The victim's dogs came to the room, and the masked assailant then ran away without taking anything.
The woman wasn't sure whether the assailant was a man or a woman. The victim was taken to the hospital for stitches but wasn't seriously hurt.
Nederland police say they have no suspects and haven't named the victim.
