Paralympian helping to raise stroke awareness and give hope

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Paralympian cyclist Billy Lister suffered a stroke at the age of 17. For several years after he felt that he never would amount to much in life. But then he found cycling.

Not only has he competed in the 2016 Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro, but he is doing his part to help raise awareness and give hope to other stroke survivors in the United States.
