Pack football drops to No. 18 in AFCA poll; No. 14 in

PUEBLO, COLO. Following a 24-21 loss at West Texas A&M University in the final seconds of a nonconference game, the Colorado State University-Pueblo football team slid in the two national polls for NCAA Division II.
The ThunderWolves were No. 7 in both poll last week, but dropped to No. 18 in the American Football Coaches Association ranking and are now No. 14 in the poll.

Also representing the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference is Colorado Mesa University at No. 11 (AFCA) and No. 20 (
The ThunderWolves (1-1, 1-0 RMAC) travels to South Daktota Mines (2-0, 1-0 RMAC) Saturday for a RMAC contest beginning at 6 p.m. in Rapid City, South Dakota.
