Zoo shares 'wish list' to help animals following hailstorm

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - Even though the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is scheduled to reopen on Saturday following Monday's devastating hailstorm, there's a long road to recovery for the animals and staff alike.

Many people have reached out to 11 News to ask how they can help.

Click here to provide a monetary donation to the zoo.

There is also a 'wish list' for animals and staff in which donations to the zoo are tax deductible. The items can be dropped off at the front of the zoo during normal business hours, even while the zoo is closed for the hail damage. You can call 719-633-9925 with any questions.
