Fire weather relief arrives Thursday with better chances for spotty showers and storms and cooler temps. Highs will drop to the mid 80s to low 90s. Rain chances will be very spotty for the afternoon... There will be a possibility of strong to severe storms east of I-25. Conditions should be very similar for Friday.
The start of the weekend offers up very slight chances for scattered storms mainly in the Pikes Peak Region as highs return to the low to upper 90s outside of the mountain regions.
Sunday looks dry and hot with highs in the 90s and 100s.
The heat continues into the start of next work week with isolated afternoon storms possible Monday and Tuesday.
