WANTED: Hit-and-run suspect, Toyota Prius with front-end damage

LITTLETON, Colo. (KKTV) - A 15-year-old Colorado boy was seriously hurt when he was hit by a car on Thursday and now authorities are looking for the driver who took off.

The Colorado State Patrol is asking the people of Colorado to be on the lookout for a blue or grayish Toyota Prius. The driver of the Prius fled the scene and witnesses were only able to gather a limited description. The vehicle should have damage to the front and the windshield according the authorities.

The crash happened at 2:44 p.m. at West Chatfield Avenue just south of Ken Caryl Avenue in Littleton. The boy was in a marked crosswalk when he was hit.
