EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) - The El Paso County Sheriff's Office is hoping a photo from a surveillance camera can help them track down a suspect in an armed robbery.

The sheriff's office sent out the photo on Thursday for a robbery that happened on Dec. 7. Authorities say the suspect entered the Domino's Pizza at 7376 McLaughlin Road near Falcon just after 8 at night. The suspect appeared to point a silver or chrome plated semi-automatic handgun at one of the employees and told the employee, "don't move."

The suspect broke into the cash register, snatched the money and threw the cash drawer on the floor. He then tried getting into the store's safe but it was locked. The suspect ran away before the sheriff's office arrived on the scene.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 20s. At the time of the crime, he was wearing a dark baseball cap, black-hooded jacket, gray pants and Converse tennis shoes.
