COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - Police are hoping for the public's help in locating two people wanted on felony arrest warrants for sexual assault, kidnapping and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
On Dec. 8, police were called to the 3000 block of West Colorado Avenue on an "urgent medical assist." Officers made contact with a girl and a woman. Both were treated at a nearby hospital. Police discovered the woman had been sexually assaulted.
During an investigation police identified three males they believe were involved in the incident. On July 17, police announced one of the people, Joel Rodriguez, was arrested for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Manuel Jose Menendez, Jr. and Jeramie Marrero are currently wanted on felony arrest warrants for sexual assault, kidnapping and contributing to the delinquency of a minor in reference to this investigation.
Manuel Menendez Jr. is a Hispanic male, 5-foot-7 and 220 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He is believed to be in the Colorado Springs or Fountain areas.
Jeramie Marrero is a Hispanic male, 5-foot-11, with black hair. His location is unknown; however, he has ties to Colorado Springs and Florida.
According to arrest papers obtained by 11 News, a juvenile told investigators she and another woman had been drugged at a hotel in Manitou Springs. The juvenile went on to say she was left at the gas station, but the suspects left and took the other woman with them.
The woman was found shortly after walking to a Fountain Fire Department station and was taken to the hospital. The victims told investigators they recalled being sexually assaulted by more than one man.
