Summit County students evacuated for bullet found outside

SUMMIT COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) - Students from Summit County Middle School, located in the mountain town of Frisco, are being evacuated after a bullet was found outside the bus drop-off area.

The SWAT Team and K-9 Unit responded to the area late Friday morning.

According to the Summit County Sheriff's Office, there is no known active threat at the school, but they are taking action as a precaution.

The bullet that was found is a .223 caliber, which deputies say can be fired from several different types of rifles.
