COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) Two seemingly unrelated murders may be connected.

Colorado Springs police say they have arrested 44-year-old Glen Galloway in connection to the murder of 57-year-old Marcus Anderson. Anderson's body was found earlier this week in a storage unit near Fillmore and Nevada.

Galloway was already in the El Paso County jail for the murder of ex-girlfriend Janice Nam, 28. Nam was found shot to death in a Colorado Springs home late last month. Police say Galloway surrendered the following day.

"The victims did not know each other; however, Mr. Anderson and Mr. Galloway were acquaintances," said CSDP Sgt. Joel Kern.

Kern said Anderson may have been living in the storage unit at the time of his death.

"We do think that he was residing in that storage unit, and obviously that’s where the murder took place.”

But did not say why police think Galloway may have have killed him.

Kern said police were concerned what else Galloway, who had a lengthy rap sheet for crimes against his ex, could possibly have done.

"Mr. Galloway's actions cause great concern, and so we're always considering that possibility, and our detectives are looking at other crimes that Mr. Galloway could have committed.

"We're interested in Mr. Galloway’s conduct during this time period [time period of the murders], so if anyone has any information or was in contact with Mr. Galloway at this time reach out and let us know.”
