There are strong to severe storms in Baca County that will continue to die down this evening. They have large hail, gusty winds, and are moving slowly. There is a Flood Advisory until 9pm in these areas. Minor flooding of creeks and streams is possible.
Sunday will be hot, breezy, and mainly dry. The best chance for storms will stay on the Eastern Plains. Highs will reach the 90s and 100s with record heat possible in some spots. No outdoor burning.
We will begin to cool down to start the work week but conditions will stay dry. Temperatures will drop to the 80s and 90s.
Better chances for rain and cooler weather will come Thursday and Friday.
