COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - A man is facing several charges for a string of break-ins in central Colorado Springs.
Police say calls started tricking in around 7 Saturday morning about various homes, vehicles and sheds that had been burglarized overnight. A number of items had been stolen.
A few hours later, an officer came across a man matching the suspect description "involved in other nefarious activity," a CSPD sergeant told 11 News. The suspect was taken into custody, and officers recovered the majority of items stolen that morning.
The suspect has been identified by police as 22-year-old Tyler Houlditch. Houlditch is facing drug charges, second-degree burglary and first-degree criminal trespass charges, among others.
