Missing boy found, Amber Alert canceled

GARFIELD COUNTY, Utah (KKTV) - An Amber Alert has been canceled after a missing 12-year-old boy was found in Utah on Monday.

An Amber Alert was issued Sunday night for the boy who 11 News, roughly 30 hours after he was last seen.

David Freeman, 60, was taken into custody, the Colorado Bureau of Investigation said.

According to the Saguache County Sheriff's Office, the boy had left his home in Crestone around 3 p.m. Saturday and hadn't been seen or heard from since. He was found with Freeman near Pangutich Lake, which is about 265 miles south of Salt Lake City. Authorities say the pair know each other but are not related.

Freeman is facing multiple charges.
