The heat sticks around for Thursday... just a few degrees cooler. Temps will warm into the 90s for lower elevations for Southern Colorado with a couple triple digit readings possible in the plains. No good chance for rain anywhere in Southern Colorado...
We will be a bit cooler on Friday, with high temperatures remaining in the 80s and 90s. Spotty showers and storms will be possible during the afternoon and evening. Some hail, gusty wind, lightning, and locally heavy rain will be possible with the stronger storms. However, the storms do not look to be that widespread.
Saturday will be a warm day as highs return to the 90s to low 100s. The day brings another chance for a few spotty afternoon and evening storms... storms should be even more isolated.
Sunday will likely be hot, breezy, and dry, ahead of another "cool down" early next week... However, despite the "cool down" early next week there likely won't be any good rain chances.
