Arrest made after man viciously punched a father holding his daughter

PINE JUNCTION, Colo. (KKTV) - Shocking video released by law enforcement Monday shows a fight break out and a small girl caught right in the middle.

The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office released the video asking for the public's help in tracking down one of the men involved. The fight happened at Crossroads Pizza & Wings bar in Pine Junction on Thursday. Pine Junction is southwest of Denver. On Wednesday, the sheriff's office announced the arrest of 22-year-old Devon Premer. He was arrested on Tuesday without incident and is being held on a $50,000 bond. Premer faces several charges including first-degree assault and child abuse.

In the video, you can see some type of altercation brewing between a man holding a young girl and another man. The two appear to be sizing each other up and yelling when a third man reaches in and slaps the man holding the young girl. A fight ensues. All while the little girl is being held by her father.

The girl was not hurt in the incident. Police identified her father, Richard Brown, as the victim. Brown was also issued a summons for misdemeanor child abuse and was airlifted from the bar with serious injuries. They also identified one of the suspects as Joel Wilson.
