Highway 24 reopened after fiery semi crash

EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) - Highway 24 was closed near Falcon for hours Wednesday as crews cleaned up a fiery crash involving a semi-truck.

Troopers say the semi burst into flames after a car crashed into it around 3 p.m. The driver of the semi was uninjured, while the person behind the wheel of the car was taken to the hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries.

The driver of the car is expected to be ticketed with careless driving.
