Colorado Springs Walgreens robbed

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - Police are searching for a suspect in an alleged armed robbery Wednesday.

Police were called to the Walgreens at 4470 Royal Pine Drive at about 2:34 p.m. in northeast Colorado Springs close to North Powers Boulevard and Briargate Parkway. According to police the suspect claimed to be armed with a weapon; however a weapon was never seen by the cashier.

No one was injured during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a white male, about 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-9 with a medium build. The suspect's clothing is described as a navy blue sweatshirt, blue jeans, white sneakers, and a blue Kansas City Royals hat.
