COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - The Colorado Springs Police Department has determined that a bomb threat called into a Walmart was not credible.
It happened Wednesday afternoon around 3:25 p.m. Police evacuated the store and searched the store. About 30 minutes later, the all clear was given and shoppers were allowed back inside.
About 10 minutes after that threat was made, the Walmart in Fountain also received a bomb threat made by a phone call. The store was not evacuated because the threat was not very specific.
Fountain police say they are looking into the possibility that these two threats are connected, but will not speculate any further.
