PUEBLO, Colo. (KKTV) - A brush fire broke out Monday evening in Pueblo and soon after police found a man with a stolen car and a gas can.
11 News crews were on scene at about 4:30 p.m. as flames burned brush and trees off of Jerry Murphy Road. The fire was down along the river bed on the north side of the city. Crews were able to get the fire under control and there were no injuries reported.
Police say they stopped a homeless person in a stolen car a short time after the fire started. Police believe this person may have started the blaze because they found a gas can in the vehicle.
