Body being recovered from Runyon Lake in Pueblo identified

PUEBLO, Colo. (KKTV) - The Pueblo Fire Department recovered a body found in Runyon Lake Monday afternoon.

Crews were on scene at about 3 p.m. Police don't suspect foul play. On Tuesday, the Pueblo County coroner identified the man as 45-year-old Eddy Huerta. The coroner believes Huerta drowned. An autopsy was scheduled for Wednesday.

A fisherman found his body in the east part of the lake. The Pueblo Police Department believe's his body was in the water for a couple of days. Details on how Huerta's body ended up in the lake were unclear as of Tuesday evening.
