7 million pounds of hot dog products recalled due to bone fragments

WASHINGTON (KKTV) - More than 7 million pounds of Sabrett hot dogs products are being recalled due to the possibility of bone pieces inside, Marathon Enterprise Inc. announced Saturday.

One minor mouth injury has been reported linked to the products recalled, which include beef and pork hot dogs and sausage. (Full list of recalled products can be viewed by clicking the link on the side of this article)

The recalled items were produced between March 17 and July 4 and have the number EST. 8864 stamped inside the USDA mark of inspection. They have been sold nationwide.

Anyone who bought these products is asked to throw them away or return them immediately.

Those with questions about the recall can call 1-800-SABRETT Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m.-5:15 p.m.
