Police: Teen driving drunk when he crashed stolen Cadillac

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - A teenager is facing a long list of charges after crashing a stolen Cadillac while driving drunk, police said Tuesday.

The crash happened around 5:30 Monday morning on southbound Powers between Constitution Avenue and Palmer Park Boulevard. Two of the passengers were thrown from the SUV as the vehicle flipped over and the driver was partially ejected. All of the occupants were reported to be in stable condition following medical assessments.

Police have since determined the vehicle was stolen and say 18-year-old Luis Garcia was drunk when he got behind the wheel. Garcia is facing charges of vehicular assault, aggravated motor vehicle theft and a pair of charges for allegedly drinking and driving.
