Spencer joined the 11 News team in August 2017 and feels "giddy" about reporting in his home state.

Spencer reports for 11 News at 4, 5:30, and 10 p.m as an MMJ reporter, taking stories from the people of the community and blasting them to screens all over the globe. Colorado Springs is a beautiful place to call home, with stunning views, clear crisp air, and solid Mexican food. He grew up in Littleton, Colorado and is now dangerously within driving distance of his parents.

After two years in southern Oregon with KDRV Newswatch 12, Spencer got used to returning to the newsroom smelling like wildfire smoke, helping chain up tires for people stuck in snow, and knocking on drug dealers' doors... asking for their side of the story.

Spencer got his journalism license from the legendary University of Missouri, and -- despite wearing a lot of black and gold-- is not a CU Buff.

If you think Spencer could help you with a story or just want to say “Spencer, do you understand how to iron a shirt?” reach out online.
