A Colorado native, Jessica Leicht is excited to be reporting stories in her home state.

Jessica Leicht was excited to join the KKTV 11 News Team in January 2015.

Jessica comes to Colorado Springs after working as reporter for a year and a half at WTVY in Dothan, Alabama.

While in Alabama she had the privilege of working on a diverse array of stories, including the National Peanut Festival, Toadlick Music Festival and other heartfelt as well as breaking stories in the community.

Jessica graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Colorado where she was an anchor and reporter for the NewsTeam Boulder, Boulder’s only televised newscast. She also co-hosted Radio 1190’s news show as well as the University’s Orientation & tour videos.

She loves skiing, spending time with her family and eating great German food.
