A health warning about certain imported dried plums. Experts say some contain elevated levels of lead.

Most of the products are typically sold as salted, or candied treats in Asian or Hispanic markets.

Products included in the warning include "It’s Fruit Chinese Style Dried Prune", by Almax International and “Saladitos Salted Prunes,” from Dollar Value Distributors.

Anyone who may have the contaminated items is encouraged to throw them away.
