Two 9 year old boys who disappeared today are now safe at home and its all thanks to the quick response of the community.
After the two best friends went missing near one of their homes in Colorado Springs Friday afternoon around 30 people helped search for them and post flyers.
"They called and said they hadn't heard from them. Got over here as fast as we could and just started making phone calls," said Amy Mathias, a family friend.
Then around seven Friday evening a volunteer found the boys on a sports field near their school. They'd been playing in nearby woods.
"It's a combination of elation, aggravation, embarassment, probably elation more than anything else, because I honestly thought something had happened to my son," said Leslie Seemann, one of the missing boys fathers.
The families say they're incredibly thankful for all the help from the community.
