The days are getting longer and the evenings are filled with music here in Southern Colorado. We've run down a ton of free music that will have you tapping your toes for weeks to come.
The First and Main Town Center has kicked off its Seventh Annual Summer Concert Series which features a free concert every Friday night through July 29. You'll hear everything from Rock to Soul to Country on the stage from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Merchants will also have games, treats and prizes.
You can head to the mountains for some concert action in Woodland Park. The Colorado College Festival Orchestra takes its show on the road and performs at the Ute Pass Cultural Center on Saturday, June 11, at 7 p.m. The concert is absolutely free. It's beautiful music in a beautiful setting, and is sponsored by the Colorado College Summer Music Festival.
You'll find a long list of mostly free concerts at ColoradoSprings.com. It has concerts scheduled through the first part of September.
