Going out to eat is fun for the entire family, but it can also cost you a pretty penny. 11 News is on your side with deals that won't take a bite out of your budget.

Carino's Italian Grill offers a great family meal deal on Monday evenings. You can enjoy a huge family platter of food, that feeds a family of four, for half price. For instance, a $26 chicken fettuccine for just $13-bucks, or a little more than $3 a person. This deal even includes unlimited salad for everyone at your table. There are more than a dozen family platters to choose from and you can order as many as you like.

Here's a way to put free or cheap eats on your plate just about every night of the week. Go to Facebook and "like" all your favorite restaurants. Many give you a free entree just for signing up. Some, such as Chick-fil-A, notify you of free food events. There's also a Facebook site dedicated to free food. You'll find free birthday goodies, free sign-up goodies, even links to other free food groups and websites.

Restaurant.can save you big money on eating out, but you have to go about it the right way. You really can get a $25 food coupon to a local restaurant for just $10, or even as little as $2 during special deals, but read the fine print.. There's usually a minimum purchase amount of $35 in order for you to use the $25 coupon. That minimum purchase amount typically increases as the coupon amount increases. There have also been reports of restaurants not honoring the coupons, so call the restaurant before buying the coupon.

Here's a deal that requires no coupons, no Internet and offers free or cheap food just about every Saturday. Head out to a Mike Boyle Lunch Bunch and sample some of the best eats in town for mere peanuts.
Mike is a restaurant connoisseur and reveals the location of his Saturday special every Friday on KKTV 11 News at Noon. Take the family or a group for one of your cheapest and best meals of the week.

Please remember, all offers are subject to availability and product providers may end these offers at any time.
