Here's your chance to get out and enjoy the best our nation has to offer for free. The National Park Service is offering its only free admission week of 2011, beginning Saturday, April 16th through Sunday, April 24th. That's free admission to every U.S. national park including the 16 here in Colorado. You'll have to pay for additional activities and camping in the parks.
Maggiemoo's Ice Cream and Treatery is offering all of us a "Sundae Stimulus" on tax day. The location at the Promenade Shops at Briargate in Colorado Springs is giving away a free mini ice cream sundae from 3pm to 6pm on April 18th. The offer is good while supplies last and limited to one per customer.
Target stores are helping you "go green" by giving away reusable shopping bags in honor of Earth Day. It will give away 1-million bags on Sunday, April 17th to customers with purchase. The stores usually run out in the first few hours, so you might want to get there early.
Web Exclusive: The Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center has extended the hours for its free day on Tuesday, April 19th. Enjoy free guided tours and free demonstrations from Bemis School of Art instructors. It should be a fun outing for the entire family.
