Updated: 05/14/2013 - I'm still focused on meeting my goal of doing a pull-up. And I'm almost there! But I'm always getting this question:
A Winter book sale is open to the public this Saturday, January 29th and Sunday, January 30th at the East Library on Union Boulevard. That's just north of Academy in the Springs. The Friends of the Pikes Peak Library District get in for a preview on Friday night. You can purchase a "Friends" membership at the door.
Speaking of the library, did you know the Pikes Peak Library District offers hundreds of free activities and classes each month? You'll find everything from Hawaiian dancing for children, movie nights for teenagers, to computer classes for seniors.
Dairy Queen is celebrating it's "Customer Appreciation Week" with some half-off deals on Saturday, January 30th. You should call your neighborhood location to see if it's participating.
The Denver Museum of Nature and Science is offering free admission on Monday, January 31st. There is a charge for the IMAX and some exhibits within the museum.
