Free mulch, free coffee and free skating lessons are waiting for you in this week's "Here's The Deal!"
You can receive free mulch to protect your trees and plants from the cooler weather, but you only have three more days to get it. People living in El Paso and Teller Counties can pick up the mulch at several locations, courtesy of a program sponsored by state and local governments. The next date to get the mulch is Saturday, September 10, then September 17 and 24.
Your children can learn to ice skate for free at Colorado College this weekend. The college's skating school is sponsoring free skating, free skate rental, free lessons, giveaways and refreshments on Saturday, September 10 from 9:15 a.m. until 11:15 a.m. You can also show up if you already know how to skate.
Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is honoring the members of our armed forces with "Military Appreciation Week" beginning September 12 and running through September 18. Military members and their families receive a discounted admission and discounts at the gift shop.
McDonald's is giving away free coffee for two weeks at participating restaurants. You can pick up a free small Premium Roast Coffee from Monday, September 12 through Sunday, September 25.
