Colorado Springs Utilities will trade up to 12 of your old incandescent bulbs for brand new CFL bulbs. Simply bring a copy of your utility bill and your old bulbs to the CSU Conservation and Environmental Center on Mesa Road. Quantities are limited, and there are some restrictions.

There are few better ways to appreciate the beauty of nature than to visit one of our national parks. More than 100 national parks are waiving admission fees on Tuesday, June 21. Eight are participating here in Colorado.

You can also reduce your carbon footprint by saving the gas and enjoying one stop fun for the entire family at Springs Spree. This free event features live entertainment Saturday, June 18 and Sunday, June 19 at Memorial Park in Colorado Springs.
