A popular discount skiing program has sweetened the pot. The 2012-2013 Colorado Gems Card will include a new flash deal feature, and you can pick your card up now for just $10. You can use the discount card at several Colorado resorts, and it includes free or discounted lift tickets. Only cardholders can get the flash deals, and we're told those flash deals could save you thousands in just one season.
Colorado Ski Country USA is bringing back its 5th and 6th grade passport programs. It offers 5th graders free access and 6th graders discounted access to 20 of Colorado's finest ski resorts. Fifth graders get three free days at each resort, which means a total of sixty days of skiing. Sixth graders get four days at each, or eighty days total, for just $99. There are even free lessons available.
Cheyenne Mountain Zoo has a deal for our military members and their families. The zoo is hosting "Military Appreciation Week" on Monday, September 10th through Sunday, September 16th. Admission is just $5.25 per person. That's a savings of $9 for each adult, $4 off for kids.
