Updated: 05/14/2013 - I'm still focused on meeting my goal of doing a pull-up. And I'm almost there! But I'm always getting this question:
Monday is Labor Day, but you're invited to a free Fourth of July celebration courtesy of Fort Carson. Fire danger canceled fireworks back in July, but you can enjoy them, along with many other fun activities on Monday, September 3rd. It runs from 5pm until 9pm at Iron Horse Park on the Mountain Post. There will be a live band, giveaways and plenty of things for the kids to do.
Here's one for you coffee lovers. Dutch Brothers Coffee locations in Colorado Springs are offering $1 coffees to all teachers and students.
You can grab that deal on Friday, August 31st. You'll need to show a valid teacher or student I.D.
You can also stop by Chipotle on August 31st for a deal on kid's meals. Buy a kid's meal on the 31st, then save your receipt to redeem it for a free kid's meal in September.
The 36th Annual Colorado Balloon Classic takes over Memorial Park August 1st through 3rd. The balloons take off daily around 7am, weather permitting. The Balloon Glo happens each night at 8pm.
