JC Penney salons are offering free haircuts to every child in grades Kindergarten through 6th. The promotion runs through the month of August. You might want to call or stop in to make your appointment soon, before all the spots fill up.
Here's an opportunity to enjoy wholesale club prices without paying for a membership. Sam's Club is hosting a "Non-Member Open House" August 3rd through the 5th. You'll be able to shop without a membership and avoid the surcharge non-members usually pay. It might be a good opportunity to stock-up on school lunch items, clothes and other necessities.
How about a free getaway before classes begin? The state is celebrating "Colorado Day" by offering free admission to all state parks. That happens Monday, August 6th. Additional fees may apply to camping and other activities.
Here's a "Here's The Deal Web Exclusive" for you: Enjoy a day of free music, crafts, activities and more as the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum celebrates "Colorado Day." The celebration is Saturday, August 4th from 10am until 2pm. Children can also stop by a gymnastics fun bus, and create a special ornament that will journey to the nation's capitol to be displayed on the Colorado tree.
