Summer is a great time to catch up on your reading and this weekend is a great opportunity to find hot deals on hundreds of titles.

The Friends of the Pikes Peak Library District is holding a book sale at the East Library in the Springs. Friday is for friends members and educators. The sale opens to the public on Saturday, June 19 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, June 20 from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.

How would you like 75 percent off of just about every book in the store? That's what you'll find at Books Again in Pueblo. The store is open 6 days a week, and your purchase benefits the Pueblo City - County Library District. The store offers monthly specials along with the everyday low prices.

Here's a deal that lets you "read" our Colorado outdoors and make a meal of it! Head to Rock Ledge Ranch at the entrance to Garden of the Gods for a "Wild Things You Can Eat Class." It is Saturday, June 19th and you do need to register for it. The class starts at 10 a.m. and runs until 11:45 a.m., and then you eat what you harvested for lunch.

Dads receive free admission to the Royal Gorge Bridge and Park on Father's Day, June 20th. A sure pleaser for all the fathers will be the Arkansas Valley Flywheelers display of antique tractors and equipment at the park.
