It's time to cure your cabin fever and get out and enjoy some free fun.
Here's a destination that's a coffee lover's dream. Head over to a free coffee roasting tour at Colorado Coffee Merchants. Employees roast the beans right there, where you'll learn about green coffee and the air roasting process. Tours happen throughout the week at Fillmore and Nevada in Colorado Springs. Give them a call to get tour times at (719) 473-8878.
How much did you pay the last time you enjoyed popcorn and a movie? Here's a deal that will land you both for free. The Penrose Library in downtown Colorado Springs has a free movie, complete with popcorn, the second Tuesday of every month. Showtime is always at noon and they are Hollywood hits. The next movie is next week, February 9.
Save money on a couple of quick trips out of town this weekend. Head up to the Denver Art Museum on Saturday, February 6 to enjoy a free day. It starts at 10 a.m. That could save a family of four up to $26. Then Sunday, February 7, enjoy a free day at the Denver Zoo. That could save that same family of four up to $28.
